Job summary

TrueBuild Partners LLC in Johnstown, CO is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support budgets, scheduling, and documentation through preconstruction to closeout. Ground-up and TI experience welcome, with a clear path to a full Project Manager role.

The successful candidate will assist with budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement while coordinating with the superintendent and vendors. A bachelor's in CM/Engineering is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience with a general contractor on commercial or industrial projects
• Ground-up or tenant improvement experience welcome
• Working knowledge of project management and scheduling software
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly billings
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration
• Coordinate schedules with the Superintendent, subcontractors, and vendors
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings and follow up on action items
• Help identify project risks and resolve issues early
• Assist with punch list, closeout documents, and warranty follow-up
