Job summary

TrueBuild Partners LLC in Johnstown, CO seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support budgets, procurement, and documentation from preconstruction through closeout on commercial and industrial projects.

The role provides a clear path toward a full Project Manager position, with hands-on mentorship from experienced PMs and Superintendents and exposure to both ground-up and tenant-improvement work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required.
• Experience with a general contractor on commercial or industrial projects.
• Ground-up or tenant improvement experience is acceptable.
• Working knowledge of project management and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly billings
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, procurement, and contract administration
• Coordinate schedules with the Superintendent, subcontractors, and vendors
• Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings and follow up on action items
• Help identify project risks and resolve issues early
• Assist with punch list, closeout documents, and warranty follow-up
