The role will report to a Senior Project Manager and will be actively involved across preconstruction, procurement, construction, turnover and closeout. This is an at-risk / lump-sum project, so candidates with relevant project experience will be particularly well suited.

- Review drawings, specifications, scopes, RFIs, submittals, change orders and payment applications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and field personnel.
- Assist with project schedules, look-aheads, milestone tracking and overall project planning.
- Track outstanding RFIs, submittals, procurement items and other project deliverables.
- Participate in owner, architect, subcontractor and internal project meetings.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting minutes, correspondence and action logs.
- Work closely with the Superintendent and field team on sequencing, logistics, quality and subcontractor coordination.
- Assist with change management, including pricing, documentation and tracking.
- Support punch-list activities, commissioning, turnover documentation, warranties and final closeout.
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction experience, ideally within an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer capacity.
- Experience working on lump-sum and/or at-risk construction projects preferred.
- Understanding of procurement, subcontract administration, RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Exposure to project cost control, scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Clear communication and the confidence to work with subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams.
- Able to work between the project site and Piscataway office as required.
