We are currently hiring an Assistant Project Manager (Electrical - Multifamily Construction) in the Raleigh, NC area.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with documentation such as change orders, submittals, RFIs, and other project records
• Attend meetings and support project coordination as directed by the Operations Manager
• Collaborate with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers to manage schedules, project progress, shop drawings, and material deliveries
• Monitor project performance to ensure schedule, budget, and quality standards are met in accordance with plans and specifications
• Help identify and resolve obstacles to meet project deadlines
• Review project costs, reports, and purchase orders regularly
• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to assist with change management and electrical scope review
• Foster cooperative relationships with team members and clients
• Assist with project inspections to verify scope and compliance with codes
• Maintain knowledge of construction methods and electrical codes
• Plan and organize tasks to meet deadlines
• Document project situations accurately and timely
• Understand and apply electrical codes, including NEC and local codes
• Modify management styles as needed to adapt to work plan changes
• Familiarize with related systems like security, fire alarms, lighting, and electrical distribution
• Perform work practices aligned with company standards
• Report incidents to Safety Manager promptly
• Assist with project closeout and record drawings
• Utilize estimating software for change orders
• Maintain professional communication and documentation standards
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift as required
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to use arms and hands for signaling, grabbing, and controlling tools and materials
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work at heights, climb ladders, and work off platforms with fall protection
• Work in various weather conditions with appropriate PPE
• Wear safety gear including hard hats, glasses, ear plugs, masks, vests, gloves, and boots
