Job description

Millán Architect Studio is seeking to hire a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager with 8 years minimum of relevant work experience as well as exceptional comprehension and proficiency in Graphisoft Archicad BIM modeling software (not Revit).

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute design and detailing concepts according to parameters defined by the Principal and Project Architect(s) (PA).
• Assist the Principal and Project Architect(s) in overseeing the design and detailing process from concept design through construction administration.
• Coordinate drawings and specifications with internal and external teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication to understand changes, design issues, or time/budget constraints.
• Work with contractors, external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and specification writers to achieve project objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Exceptional comprehension and proficiency in Graphisoft Archicad is required.
• Minimum 8 years of post-Bachelor’s degree Architecture firm experience.
• Strong comprehension and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required.
• Strong comprehension and proficiency in rendering software (e.g. Enscape and TwinMotion) is preferred.
• NAAB accredited degree is required.
• Commitment to a 40 hour work-week.
• Strong comprehension and proficiency in supplemental 3D modeling software (e.g. Rhino, Sketchup) is a plus.
• Experience working with a project team and consultants from design development through construction administration.
• Experience and understanding of all phases of single and multi-family residential, commercial, and hospitality project design from pre-design through construction administration.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Exceptional level of attention to detail (construction details to finish details).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
