Job summary

Clune Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for mission-critical projects in Dallas, TX. You will support preconstruction, kickoff, and ongoing project controls while collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, trade partners and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires 2–5 years’ experience in construction, familiarity with CMiC, and a Bachelor’s in construction-related field preferred.

Qualifications

  • Background in construction trades and technical knowledge of construction methods.
  • 2–5 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare and/or mission-critical projects.
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate pursuit information, review RFPs, assist client presentations and organize project information to support preconstruction activities.
  • Coordinate preconstruction planning by aligning project docs, logistics, constructability reviews, procurement, value engineering and budget activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractor procurement by preparing bid packages, maintaining bidder information, clarifying scope, and tracking subcontract execution.
  • Support project startup and execution planning by coordinating kickoff meetings, schedules, logistics, and communications among leadership, field teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation workflows including RFIs, submittals, logs, and reporting to maintain accurate information.
  • Coordinate project financial management by tracking costs, reviewing commitments, processing change orders, and updating CMiC.
  • Coordinate project communication and stakeholder alignment by preparing agendas and minutes, and supporting OAC meetings and updates.
