Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Tenant Improvement in Austin, TX. The role emphasizes leadership across the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout, with heavy involvement in client interviews, RFPs, and strategy.

You will mentor teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or preferred in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering.
  • 9+ years of construction project management experience, including 2-3 years in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across the project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, bid strategy, and contract administration to ensure profitability.
  • Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers to build strong teams.
  • Ensure excellent client satisfaction by managing owner, architect, engineer, and trade partner relationships.
  • Oversee budget, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, and project controls to protect objectives.
