Job summary

Richard is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead day-to-day on assigned projects, ensure budget, timeline, and quality targets, and coordinate with home office, Owner, and subs. The role requires proactive problem solving and strong communication, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance in healthcare and federal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years’ experience with a hard-bid general contracting company.
• Understanding of construction materials, means, methods and building systems.
• Experience in federal sector projects.
• Experience in healthcare projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to work on any shift due to hospital construction.
• Experience with Davis Bacon-Prevailing wage or union projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project start up, completion, punch list, and close-out.
• Provide leadership for costs, planning, scheduling, supervision and personnel.
• Coordinate with project team to maintain schedule, safety, budget and quality.
• Plan quality processes, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports.
• Write and review RFIs, change orders, schedules, 3-week look-aheads.
• Communicate clearly with home office, Owner and Subcontractors.
• Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and contract terms.
• Oversee schedules, SOVs, org charts, and DIV 01-33 submittals.
• Manage equipment, labor, permits, and 3rd party requirements.
• Lead internal and owner project meetings, develop content, manage BIC.
