McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager – Land Development in Fayetteville, AR. You will develop site construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and coordinate with the project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a BS in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture, and PE/PLA licensure or the ability to obtain licensure (Arkansas preferred). Collaboration with municipal entities is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture (strongly preferred).
• 4–5 years of related experience.
• PE or PLA licensure or ability to obtain licensure; Arkansas licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documents for site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with the project team to develop and complete projects on time and on budget.
• Complete plan review comments from internal quality control and city review processes.
• Prepare written communications, applications, and reports.
• Review and implement municipal zoning ordinances, geotechnical reports, and codes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to identify opportunities and constraints for development sites and obtain project approval.
• Prepare for, attend, and lead meetings with internal and external clients.

Assistant Project Manager – Land Development. Regular Full-Time, Fayetteville, AR, US.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documents for site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Construction document sets include site plans, grading and drainage, utilities, erosion control, plan sheets, and applicable details.
• Coordinate with the project team to develop and complete projects on time and on budget.
• Complete plan review comments from internal quality control and city review processes.
• Prepare written communications, applications, and reports.
• Review and implement municipal zoning ordinances, geotechnical reports, as well as state and federal codes to ensure project compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to identify opportunities and constraints for development sites, assist in municipal meetings and submittals, and complete plan revisions as needed to obtain project approval.
• Prepare for, attend, and lead meetings with internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture (strongly preferred).
• 4–5 years of related experience.
• PE or PLA licensure or the ability to obtain licensure; Arkansas licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ethical conduct, time management, organization, personal effectiveness/credibility, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.

Travel

Travel will be expected for this position but will not require regular overnight stays.
