CW Resources in Chicago is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for janitorial operations. You will supervise a custodial team, train staff, and help plan daily work schedules to ensure coverage for regular, afterhours, and weekend shifts.

The role emphasizes maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities, enforcing safety standards, coordinating supplies and equipment, and supporting a mission-driven workplace with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory or Team Lead experience.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of commercial janitorial or facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and equipment handling.
• Knowledge of janitorial safety standards and procedures, including OSHA standards and bloodborne pathogen protocols.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Valid RealID
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a custodial team while ensuring high quality work, a safe environment, and consistent adherence to company standards.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and proper equipment use.
• Assist with planning and assigning daily work schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate coverage for regular, afterhours, and weekend shifts.
• Participate in daily custodial operations, including cleaning, inspections, and safety checks, to maintain consistent quality across all areas.
• Maintain and manage custodial supplies and equipment by overseeing stocking, ordering, routine upkeep, and inventory tracking to ensure all materials are available for daily operations.
• Respond to emergency cleaning situations including afterhours calls, biohazard events, and floodrelated incidents while ensuring a prompt and safe resolution.
• Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality standards.
