Job summary

Challenge Unlimited is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Custodial) to supervise janitorial staff at Fort Leonard Wood. You will provide training, support, and on-going feedback on duties, procedures, and safety, while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

The role includes planning, scheduling, and budget monitoring, with a focus on building a strong company culture and effective outcomes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $24.32 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of janitorial experience with some supervisory or training responsibility.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must pass criminal background and registry checks.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inventory of supplies and equipment; schedule staff per contract needs.
• Ensure contract work meets SOI, quality, safety, and regulatory standards; report incidents.
• Maintain quality standards and address deficiencies; handle client communications.
• Develop and coach workers to improve job skills and independence.
• Lead and train all crew members; manage performance and discipline as needed.
