Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for commercial and industrial construction projects in South Carolina. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate procurement, manage documentation, monitor costs and schedules, and help keep projects safe, on time and within budget.

The role requires at least 3 years in commercial construction, including 2+ years as a Project Engineer or equivalent, proficiency in Procore, and OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience; 2+ years as Project Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience managing project documentation, costs, schedules and subcontractors.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, procurement and subcontractor buyout.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, drawings and document control.
• Monitor project budgets, committed costs, forecasts and change orders.
• Assist with project scheduling, trade coordination and look-ahead programmes.
• Review subcontractor pay applications and support monthly client billing.
