Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager III to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction activities. The role includes coordinating multiple project tasks, preparing schedules, and contributing to monthly reviews.

Travel up to 50% is required. Ideal candidates have a 4+ year construction background, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication, time management, and team collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field; 4+ years of construction project experience
• Experience in EPC/design build and Power Delivery industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction teams
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Develops subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits
• Works with Safety to develop and implement project safety plans and incident investigations
• Helps prepare monthly project review reports for PM and Senior Management
• Conducts financial reviews and project closeouts on a monthly basis
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG document management system
• Provides feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial and administrative deliverables
• Assists in procurement of PO's and subcontracts
• Monitors progress of design, procurement and construction
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration
• Performs post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned
• May act as PM when required and qualified
• Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
