Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG), a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager III to support the Project Manager on multiple projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction during development and execution phases.

Travel up to 50%. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of construction project experience; EPC/design-build and Power Delivery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction project experience in planning and management including engineering, estimating, bidding, scheduling, cost control, and procurement.
• Prior EPC/design-build and Power Delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, controls, procurement, and construction management.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Coordinate with Safety personnel on project safety plans and incident investigations.
• Assist with monthly project schedule updates and management reviews.
• Support project by conducting financial reviews and closeouts on a monthly basis.
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts; monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Support project close-out and warranty administration; participate in lessons learned.
