Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a top Manhattan-based GC with room for growth. The role involves assisting in project scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining project documentation across healthcare, commercial interiors, aviation, and educational sectors.

You will review shop drawings and drawings, manage RFIs and change orders, and communicate with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in construction or project coordination.
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines for proposals and project milestones.
• Team player with strong leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet research.
• Experience in healthcare, public agencies or aviation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, submittals, blueprints and architectural drawings.
• Assist in creating construction project schedules.
• Assist in directing and overseeing subcontractors and deliveries.
• Compile and track all project documentation.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors, contract correspondence, submittals, RFIs, requisitions and change orders.
• Answer large volumes of emails and phone calls with clients and vendors.
