Job summary

FINFROCK is a full-service design-builder in Orlando, FL, seeking an Assistant Project Manager to take ownership on construction projects alongside the Project Manager and field team.

You will help with procurement, coordination, and documentation while growing toward a Project Manager role. The role offers a path for advancement, competitive compensation, and exposure to diverse clients and projects.

Qualifications

• A two-to-four-year degree in construction, engineering, business, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant construction experience considered.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and project coordination; ability to learn FINFROCK processes quickly.
• Willingness to work hours and travel required to support project commitments and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to increase responsibility.
• Comfortable making decisions, communicating expectations, and holding self and others accountable.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and desire to grow into a Project Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in subcontractor procurement, buyout, and follow-through to support the Project Manager.
• Obtain material quotes from suppliers, evaluate options, and submit purchase orders for approval.
• Own project administration, coordination, and close-out responsibilities; follow items to completion.
• Assist the Project Manager with PM Web coordination and identify items needing action.
• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, notifications, and correspondence.
