Job summary

FINFROCK is seeking an experienced structural engineer to provide engineering services for projects in Central Florida. You will perform and lead field investigations, analysis, calculations, and develop plans and specs, with reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Responsibilities include designing concrete and structural steel, overseeing construction documents, reviewing work for quality, and managing multiple projects across design and construction phases. Florida licensure is a key objective.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in civil or structural engineering.
Must have PE license; able to get licensed in FL within 1 year.
10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in project management.
Experience designing concrete and structural steel; prestressed/precast concrete preferred.
Proficient with ETABS, SAP, RISA, RAM, SAFE or similar software.
Proficient in 3D CAD software (Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks).
Salary commensurate with experience; willing to relocate to Central Florida.

Responsibilities

Perform engineering calculations for structural framing, member design, connections, and foundations.
Oversee the creation of construction documents for construction and permits.
Review calculations and documents for accuracy and standards.
Train entry-level engineers and lead project teams.
Attend project meetings and manage multiple design/construction phases.
