Job summary

Alleato Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for its Fire Sprinkler division. This hands-on training role offers a clear path toward promotion to Project Manager as you grow into full project ownership on commercial fire sprinkler installations.

You will support project managers with scheduling, submittals, procurement, and coordinating field crews, while learning budgeting and client-facing project management as you progress.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Prior experience in construction, fire sprinkler, or a related trade is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers with day-to-day coordination of fire sprinkler installation projects — scheduling, submittals, procurement, and subcontractor communication.
• Assist with reviewing drawings, tracking material orders, and coordinating field crews.
• Help manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and permitting paperwork.
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and site supervisors to keep projects on schedule.
• Learn budgeting, cost tracking, and client-facing project management as you progress toward a PM role.
• Visit job sites periodically to monitor progress and support field coordination.
