Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, controls, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases. The role requires a 2+ year construction project background and a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with EPC/design-build and Power Delivery experience preferred.

Travel up to 50% may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning and management such as engineering, estimating, bidding, scheduling, cost control, and procurement.
• Preferred experience in EPC/design build and Power Delivery (substation, transmission & distribution) industries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedule with engineering and procurement teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits with PM review.
• Supports safety plan development, incident reporting, and investigation coordination.
• Assists PM with project scheduling and monthly review reports.
• Supports financial reviews and monthly closeouts.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG document system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of deliverables for projects.
