Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.

You will assist in developing schedules, participate in value engineering, and help with monthly financial reviews and project closeouts. Travel up to 50% may be required and prior EPC design-build experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted
• 2+ years of construction project experience, including various aspects of construction planning and management including, but not limited to engineering, estimating, bidding, preparing, and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, document control, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases of the project
• Assist PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management personnel
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Work with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits for PM review
• Collaborate with Safety personnel on safety-related issues and support incident investigations
• Assist the PM with project schedule and monthly project reviews for PM and Senior Management
• Support project by conducting financial reviews and closeouts monthly
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages
• Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction of the project
• Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration
• Perform post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned
• Perform other duties as assigned by PM/Operations Director
