Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across development and execution phases. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities, and assist in scheduling, vendor management, and safety planning.

The role may involve supporting multiple projects, participating in value engineering, and assisting with monthly performance reviews and closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or accredited apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation and solving skills.
• Understanding of project design and integrated EPC process.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, and procurement teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Works with procurement on subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Supports safety planning and incident reporting with Safety personnel.
• Prepares monthly project review reports and assists with project closeouts.
