EnSafe Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Environmental Engineer or Geologist to join our dynamic team. This full-time role focuses on environmental assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance across diverse clients and sites.

You will lead field activities, develop scope plans, manage budgets, and communicate with clients and regulators. A strong writing and communication background, travel up to 20%, and a professional license are highly valued as you help grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) Certification.
• 5-10 years of experience in environmental consulting, site assessment, remediation, or related environmental services.
• Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations, including TRRP.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Manage and support environmental assessment, investigation, and remediation projects with senior staff.
• Establish project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources for delivery.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee field investigations including soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, and air assessments.
• Develop and review technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, and remediation strategies.
• Interpret environmental data and support regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist business development through client relationships and proposals.
• Promote safety, quality, and risk management; mentor junior staff.
