Job summary

HB McClure Company, LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Project Manager to support construction projects within our Special Projects division. This role offers hands-on coordination, documentation, and administrative duties on site, with exposure to mechanical contracting operations.

Base compensation for this entry-level role is around $30/hour, with final determination based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in construction, engineering or project coordination is a plus.
• Exposure to mechanical systems (HVAC, piping) and project management concepts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors and field staff
• Assist with purchase orders, change documentation, and contract paperwork
• Support preparation of RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Maintain accurate project data in project management and ERP systems
• Communicate routine project updates to project leadership
• Visit construction job sites periodically to support coordination efforts
• Observe field operations to learn construction sequencing and safety practices
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements

Qualifications
