HB McClure Company in Harrisburg seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects on new construction, retrofits, renovations and design-build work. You will own projects from award through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, field coordination and relationships to deliver quality work safely and profitably.

This onsite role offers a starting compensation of $95K+ and ESOP ownership with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC/plumbing construction project management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical construction practices, project sequencing and field operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, job costs, labor productivity and financial forecasting.
• Experience independently managing multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets and quality expectations.
• Proven ability to lead through others, delegate effectively and maintain accountability for project results.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Harrisburg Construction team and lead commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, including new construction, retrofits, renovations and design-build work.

In this role, you'll take ownership of projects from award through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, field coordination, customer relationships and overall financial performance. You'll work closely with our foremen, field teams and operations leadership to keep projects moving, anticipate challenges and deliver quality work safely, on schedule and profitably.

This is an onsite position with regular jobsite presence and daily collaboration with operations and field leadership.

Annual compensation starting at $95K+ with final pay determined by qualifications and experience.

What You'll Do

• Independently manage multiple commercial mechanical construction projects from award through closeout, taking ownership of overall project performance.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower requirements and execution plans.
• Partner with foremen and field leadership to coordinate labor, subcontractors and materials, resolve challenges and maintain accountability for project execution.
• Proactively monitor and forecast project financial performance, including labor productivity, remaining costs, change orders and projected profitability.
• Review drawings, contracts and project documentation to manage scope, identify risks and address changes.
• Maintain regular jobsite presence to monitor progress, quality, safety and productivity.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with general contractors, customers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Identify potential scheduling, budget and productivity issues early and take action to keep projects on track.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, billings and progress reporting.

What You'll Bring

• 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC/plumbing construction project management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical construction practices, project sequencing and field operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, job costs, labor productivity and financial forecasting.
• Experience independently managing multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets and quality expectations.
• Proven ability to lead through others, delegate effectively, work collaboratively with experienced field teams and maintain accountability for project results.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with general contractors, field leadership, engineers and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks or other construction management software preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical, trade or college education preferred.
• Valid PA driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
