Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Chicago seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support project managers on varied EPC and design projects. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors and vendors, manage document control, and track schedules and budgets to keep projects on time.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with Primavera Contract Manager or similar software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers on a variety of projects of varying complexity.
• Manage and coordinate project liaison with client, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain document control and manage project databases.
• Track project activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant goals.
• Assist with RFP package development and scope of work documentation.
• Support contracts administration including change orders and invoices.
