Job summary

Chase Construction Group is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager based in Tennessee to oversee day-to-day commercial construction activities from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes RFIs, submittals, budgets, and rigorous document control for complex projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience with a general contractor or major subcontractor, and proficient use of Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, MS Project, Sage 300 CRE, and CMiC Field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience with a commercial general contractor or major trade subcontractor.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgets, and project documentation.
• Experience reviewing architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of commercial construction contracts, procurement processes, and project controls.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings.
• Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and document control systems.
• Assist with project startup, turnover, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate project communications between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
