Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for high‑voltage transmission and distribution projects nationwide. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating project activities, including budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and safety compliance.

Based in Pahrump, NV, the role requires collaboration with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure on‑time, on‑budget project execution and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget projections for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Track project costs against the forecasted budget and report findings to leadership.
• Develop and manage the Schedule of Values (SOV) and prepare billing packages for customers.
• Assist in pre-construction activities including bid preparation and contract review.
• Support development of the project baseline schedule and update the running schedule.
• Maintain electronic and printed project files and generate periodic projections and reports.
• Communicate with supervisors, subcontractors, or engineers to resolve issues.
