Job summary

Verdex Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Operations team in West Palm Beach, FL. You will support the project manager with submittals, procurement, scheduling, and coordination across architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will help plan and execute construction of projects from start to finish, maintain digital documentation, generate insightful reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards and company

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management or similar construction role.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively to ensure project success.
• Knowledge of construction terminology; multifamily experience a plus.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the project manager by handling submittals and scheduling.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and trade coordination.
• Maintain digital project documentation and change orders.
• Assist with plans/spec reviews and invoicing/billing estimates.
• Prepare and deliver project reports and dashboards.
