  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
  • Manage and maintain digital documentation of the project closeout, securing all warranties and processing change orders.

Overview

Verdex Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Operations team to assist us in our mission of "Building Something Better."

The Assistant Project Manager acts as a key support to the project manager, performing essential project tasks such as the processing of submittals, assisting with the subcontractor procurement process, scheduling, subcontractor trade coordination, and supporting the project manager through all phases of the project from start to finish. This role will also work with the project team in planning and executing the construction of a project or multiple projects assigned to them.

Essential Functions
  • Work directly with the project manager to help implement project goals.
  • Research and gather information required for each project, create files, and ensure information is on the network.
  • Review and maintain plans and specifications, prepare invoices, filing, billing estimates, and schedule meetings as needed.
  • Manage the submittal process by reviewing all shop drawings against project specifications.
  • Maintain submittal logs, coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and the Project Superintendent.
  • Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals. Manage the RFI process.

Requirements & Qualifications
