Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation, a leading infrastructure services provider across the US and Canada, is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination and reporting of construction projects.

The role involves organizing work across teams, tracking cost and schedule, maintaining documentation, and liaising with field operations and customers. Travel to field sites is required, and driving questions are part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of project coordination, construction, operations, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tracking tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate across departments.
• Willingness to travel to field projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing work assignments and coordinating project activities.
• Support development and maintenance of project schedules.
• Assist in determining resource requirements and staffing needs.
• Coordinate project setup, coding, and baseline information.
• Track milestones and deliverables; report variances in cost or schedule.
• Communicate with field teams, supervisors, and management.
• Prepare internal and external project reports; support closeout documentation.
