Job summary

Turner & Townsend is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support project management services across real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources sectors. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to assist with planning, governance, reporting and procurement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree related to construction, at least 3 years of experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Work as an effective and collaborative team member in delivering the project.
• Exposure to project management software systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to ensure quality standards and timely completion.
• Assist with scheduling milestones and reporting on progress.
• Prepare proposals for new or variations to projects.
• Establish effective governance, processes, and systems for the project.
• Share and retain key information and data.
• Build strong relationships with client and team members.
• Interface with executives, project team, consultants, and vendors.
• Manage flow of project information between team and stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, update issue/action logs, and drive items to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and follow up with team members on status.
• Contribute to monthly client program reporting and dashboards.
• Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, meeting coordination, punch lists, and close-out docs.
• Assist with procurement of suppliers/resources and monitor performance management.
