Job summary

Keiter is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Operations team in planning, executing, and monitoring construction projects. You will track progress, coordinate with field staff and subcontractors, assist with budgeting and procurement, and help ensure safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, managing scope, producing status reports, and coordinating with clients, architects, and vendors.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 required or equivalent safety training.
• Experience with construction management processes is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project teams, tracking progress, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with the supervisor to develop project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
• Monitor and manage project scope, ensuring changes are documented and approved.
• Track project progress, provide regular status reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Keiter field supervisors, staff, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress.
• Review and interpret plans and specifications to ensure proper execution.
• Organize and lead progress meetings with internal teams, clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement, scheduling, and coordination of materials and resources.
• Oversee project budgets and financials, including preparing invoices, estimates, and procurement documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety compliance and eliminate potential hazards.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Support project administration, including RFIs, meeting minutes, and daily logs.
• Act as a key team member to maintain workflow, meet deadlines, and uphold quality standards
