Job summary

Catamount Constructors seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support purchasing, documentation, subcontractor management and scheduling. You will ensure clear communication with stakeholders and maintain project records to help deliver on time and within budget.

Collaborate with the Project Manager on buyouts, review drawings, track submittals and budgets, and assist in enforcing safety and quality across diverse projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences or equivalent.
• 3+ years of GC-related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Procore.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager on buyout, bid qualification, and scheduling.
• Negotiate subcontractor terms, review drawings and specs, identify gaps.
• Prepare timely weekly updates, maintain purchasing schedule and logs.
• Review submittals for conformance and track lead times.
• Prepare monthly budget reports and document project issues.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor site activities, resolve schedule conflicts.
• Conduct pre-punch and assist close-out activities.
• Enforce close-out timelines and collect close-out documents.
