Job summary

Findorff is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and lead residential construction efforts in the project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout. You will advance technical knowledge while taking on expanding responsibility in project management, field coordination, and financial performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, clients, architects, and trade partners, while developing leadership and communication skills across phases of the work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in construction PM, field engineering, or estimating (commercial).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and sequencing.
• Experience supporting project financials: budgeting, forecasting, change management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Effective communication across teams and with clients/partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to CMiC, Bluebeam, Procore or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project activities: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with Superintendents/PMs; coordinate subcontractors.
• Assist with bidding, procurement, and contract compliance.
• Aid budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and monthly reporting.
• Collaborate with field teams on material coordination, safety, and quality control.
• Build relationships with project teams, clients, and trade partners; grow leadership skills.
