Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is hiring an Office/Field Engineer to support planning and daily project execution. You will assist the Project Engineer and Superintendent, manage submittals and material deliveries, and help maintain schedules and budgets on civil/vertical construction projects.

The role requires 1–4 years of experience and a BS in a related field; CAD/HCSS/Primavera skills are preferred. Strong communication with the team is essential. This is a salary position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant construction or field engineering experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of CAD, HCSS HeavyJob and Primavera.
• Strong communication with project teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer and Superintendent with planning and daily execution of the project.
• Manage submittal approvals and timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on scope and changes.
• Oversight of safety meetings, procurement, and subcontractor scheduling.
