Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Hartford to support the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager on all project aspects. You will focus on document control, RFIs, submittals, material delivery, and coordination with subcontractors and design teams.

The role emphasizes project reporting, cost and change management, and mentorship of Project Engineers, with supervision responsibilities and close collaboration across the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in construction project management or similar role.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Experience with cost management, scheduling and CM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for Owners, OPMs and design team members.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with subcontractors and owners to resolve conflicts.
• Support cost and change management; prepare and present reports.
• Assist in development of estimates and bids for lump sum and GMP projects.
• Oversee Project Engineer and document control tasks (RFI, submittals, delivery, minutes).
• Mentor and train supporting team members, including Project Engineers.
• Maintain relations with subcontractors and delivery schedules.
• Closeout: manage documentation and final project closeout checklist.
