Job summary

Vericon Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to help plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will work with the Project Management Team to support larger projects and independently manage smaller ones.

You will participate in estimating, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout, while ensuring safety protocols and timely communication with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or related field.
• Ability to read and evaluate architectural/MEP drawings and relevant contract documents.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levels.
• Must be highly organized and efficient.
• Attention to detail and a self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Procore (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the construction lifecycle – including estimating, subcontractor procurement and buyout, scheduling, scope reviews, budgeting, execution and closeout.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Team to coordinate resources, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in the resolution of unforeseen issues that may arise during construction.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety regulations and protocols on construction sites.
• Assist with tracking milestones and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Support the monitoring of project costs and budget.
• Support the PM team with meetings, minutes, tracking materials, and documentation such as submittals and RFIs.
