Job summary

Jobot in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our design-build team. You will assist with management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish, collaborating with senior project managers and field staff to ensure quality, safety, and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field with 1–3 years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive mindset for problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of construction industry experience, in a project assistant or coordinator role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminology.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive with problem identification and solutions.
• Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
