Job summary

NOVO Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for commercial projects. The candidate should have 4+ years of commercial construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture.

LEED AP is preferred, with strong estimating skills and understanding of building trades, MEP trades emphasized. The role reports to the Project Manager or Project Executive and is based at the project site, working closely with the Project Superintendent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
• Minimum 4 years of commercial construction experience
• LEED AP preferred
• Estimating skills
• Understanding of building trades, MEP emphasis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Attend and conduct project job walks
• Draft Owner/Client contracts and Subcontract agreements for review
• Review and prepare Subcontractor invoices
• Manage project budget and scope using ProLog
• Identify, track and manage scope and change orders
• Prepare and present Owner/Client change orders
• Prepare Master Schedule and 3-week lookaheads
• Coordinate and update project drawings, RFIs, submittals
