Codaray Construction in Ridgeland, MS is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our commercial construction team. You will assist with managing multiple projects, coordinating with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering, 2+ years of construction/management experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lead team members in an effective yet positive manner.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Self-motivated and adaptable to assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a draft of the project schedule.
• Assists with the buyout process of subcontracts and purchase orders after a project has been assigned.
• Coordinates efforts between the general contractor, subcontractor, and material procurement.
• Completes submittals and RFIs.
• Approves vendor bills electronically for project costs.
• Assisting the Project Manager as directed.
