Job summary

Codaray Construction in Hattiesburg, MS seeks a Project Manager to own commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with the superintendent and subs to keep budgets, schedules, and quality on track.

You will lead contract administration, changes, submittals, procurement, and scheduling while collaborating with preconstruction/estimating to discuss constructability and value engineering with owners, architects, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in construction, design, or project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• A track record of leading teams effectively and positively.
• Self-motivation and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
• Prior PM experience on large commercial projects preferred.

• Manage subcontract and purchase order buyout after project award.
• Develop cost budgets and schedules of values.

Project Manager – Commercial Construction | Hattiesburg, MS

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll run point on multiple commercial construction projects, working daily with your Project Superintendent and subcontractors to keep jobs on schedule, on budget, and on quality. You'll own contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling, and you'll partner closely with our preconstruction/estimating team — engaging owners, architects, engineers, and subs on constructability and value engineering as projects move from negotiation to execution.
