Job summary

Concord General Contracting, Inc. is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager to grow a commercial construction career and help deliver successful projects in Arizona.

You will work with experienced leaders, coordinate with Superintendents, Architects, subcontractors, and clients from startup through closeout, managing documentation, financials, and communication to develop leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Previous experience in commercial construction, project engineering, or project coordination preferred.
• General knowledge of construction documents, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittals, RFIs, action items, and project documentation in Procore.
• Participate in project buyout and collaborate with Preconstruction and Operations teams.
• Coordinate and lead Owner-Architect-Contractor and subcontractor meetings.
• Prepare and distribute accurate meeting minutes and track follow-up items.
• Assist with change events, change orders, budget reviews, billings, forecasting, and pay applications.
• Track potential cost impacts and keep financial and contract data accurate.
• Maintain permits, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
• Identify and communicate project risks, errors, omissions, and liability concerns.
• Maintain a consistent jobsite presence and stay accessible to the team.
• Build positive relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and partners.
• Help the team deliver the Ultimate Client Experience from startup to closeout.
