Job summary

MasTec Civil, LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a heavy civil roadway project by managing project documentation, assisting with cost control, and supporting schedule development and maintenance. You will work with the Project Manager, field crews, subcontractors, designers, and owners to ensure on-time delivery within budget and in compliance with contract requirements.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of heavy

Qualifications

• Understanding of construction means and methods in heavy construction.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience directing subcontractors to meet project goals.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook; scheduling with P-3.
• Onsite project documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project document control systems per requirements.
• Track RFIs, submittals, transmittals, meeting minutes and notices.
• Maintain current contract docs, drawings, specs and revisions.
• Support change orders, claims, and cost reporting.
• Assist with schedule development and cost control activities.
