Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Civil or Environmental Engineer, to support project management in a dynamic, technically focused environment in NH.

The role emphasizes coordination across engineering disciplines, schedule and budget management, and collaboration with field teams. A PE license and several years of related experience are preferred; the position involves field components and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer registration or certification, as applicable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and scheduling software, AutoCAD/Civil3D and Blue Beam.

Responsibilities

• Split time between technical tasks, field assignments, reporting, and project management support.
• Apply knowledge of codes, regulations, and professional standards to tasks.
• Collaborate with project and field teams to meet client goals, budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Assist in cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and review written communications and technical deliverables.
• Engage with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Plan work focused on engineering design and construction/implementation for environmental projects.
