Job summary

The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager for in-field work in the DMV area, supporting data centers, medical facilities, and commercial and Federal buildings. You will assist the Project Manager, coordinate with general contractors, write purchase orders, and manage RFIs and submittals, while attending client meetings to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to walk long distances, stand for extended periods of time and traverse different types of terrain and elevations.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders; lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Data center project experience preferred.

Job Summary:

The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This is an in-field position based in the DMV area that will help drive the delivery of construction projects that include data centers, medical facilities, and commercial and Federal buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Manager in all aspects of the project.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the general contractor.
  • Write purchase orders for material and equipment as required.
  • Manage RFI process.
  • Manage submittal process and log.
  • Attend client project meetings.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 2+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
