Job summary

EmployBridge seeks an Assistant Project Manager for the Dallas–Fort Worth area to support field operations and help drive safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery. You will work directly with the Project Manager on safety, scheduling, subcontractor coordination and cost tracking.

This role offers real ownership of projects, with on-site responsibilities in varying weather, occasional travel, and a weekly vehicle allowance. Base pay is $75,000–$95,000 with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1+ year concrete construction experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard field/project management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• On-site work in varying weather; ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support project safety implementation, including safety audits and incident follow-up.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Track project costs, labor hours, and material usage.
• Maintain and update the 3-week lookahead schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and craft to hit milestones.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings, permits, and project logs (RFI, submittal, drilled pier).
• Mentor foremen and craftsmen to build leadership within crews.
• Attend and participate in project and subcontractor meetings.

Description:

A well-established, privately-held concrete construction company serving the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations and help drive safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery.

This role is a strong fit for someone who wants real ownership of a project rather than just a supporting title - you'll work directly alongside the Project Manager on everything from safety and scheduling to subcontractor coordination and cost tracking.

Responsibilities:
