Job summary

Concrete Careers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex concrete construction projects from start to finish in Dallas, TX. You will work closely with superintendents, field teams, clients, and leadership to plan, coordinate, budget, and execute while maintaining our standards for quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes managing multiple projects, controlling costs, and ensuring safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in commercial concrete construction, tilt up wall highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means, and methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex construction challenges.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Create and maintain project budgets, schedules, and critical path plans
  • Review project labor costs weekly with Superintendents to ensure budgets are maintained
  • Oversee project productivity, cost control, quality, and safety in line with company policies
  • Coordinate with operations teams on formwork, logistics, schedules, and budgets
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure plans, schedules, and expectations are aligned
  • Manage material buyouts and ensure timely delivery to jobsites
  • Prepare and issue change orders, proposals, RFPs, budgets, and preliminary schedules
  • Track project progress, quality of work, and overall performance
  • Attend client and internal meetings and assist with project requirement planning
  • Maintain contract execution logs and manage change notices and documentation
  • Ensure all required project closeout documents are completed
  • Share lessons learned and contribute ideas to improve company processes
  • Keep executive management informed of project status and potential issues

As a Project Manager, you will oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish, working closely with Superintendents, field teams, clients, and leadership.
