Job summary

Actalent in Reno, NV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, field coordination, subcontractor management, and execution on large-scale data center and electrical construction projects.

You'll work with experienced leaders to keep projects on schedule and within budget, with mentorship and hands-on exposure to both office and field operations. This is a contract role based in Reno.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years in Construction Project Engineering, Project Coordination, Assistant Project Management or related roles.
• Understanding of construction project management principles and field operations
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical construction projects

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects
• Support procurement efforts, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress
• Participate in project meetings and communicate with field teams
• Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reports
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Track key milestones and help ensure project deadlines are met
• Support day-to-day project operations and problem-solving efforts

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll support the successful execution of complex construction projects from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
