Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced project coordinator to assist senior project managers in planning, budgeting, and scheduling for electrical and construction projects in New York. You will coordinate activities, resources, and stakeholders, monitor costs, prepare reports, and help ensure safety and compliance across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets with the senior project manager.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to meet milestones.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, technicians, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Monitor project costs and expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, financial reports, progress, and status updates.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
  • Contribute to risk assessment, mitigation plans, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
  • Establish communication channels and communicate project status, changes, and risks.
  • Facilitate meetings, agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
  • Support quality assurance processes and compliance with codes and standards.
  • Address project non-conformities and customer complaints with the senior PM.
  • Coordinate and allocate labor, materials, and equipment; monitor resource utilization.
  • Promote site safety, identify hazards, and follow safety procedures.

Requirements
