Job summary

Allegiance Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking one or two Assistant Project Managers / Project Engineers to support the delivery of multiple mechanical construction projects. This role presents a clear path to a Project Manager position, with emphasis on coordinating subcontractors, reviewing drawings, and maintaining project documentation.

Strong communication, organization, and proactive problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within mechanical construction or MEP contracting.
• Understanding of mechanical building systems, particularly HVAC and piping.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals and project documentation.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to develop within project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of mechanical construction projects.
• Support project planning, scheduling and budgeting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders.
